License FAQ

Our themes are released under the MIT license and is copyright 2016 FreeVision.

It requires you to:

  • Include the license and copyright notice in your works

It permits you to:

  • Freely download and use our themes and or our framework, in whole or in part, for personal, private, company internal, or commercial purposes
  • Modify the source code

It forbids you to:

  • Grant a sublicense to modify and distribute our themes and or our framework to third parties not included in the license
  • Use our themes and or our framework in packages or distributions that you create
  • Hold the authors and license owners liable for damages as of our themes and or our framework is provided without warranty
  • Hold the creators or copyright holders of FreeVision liable
  • Redistribute any piece of our themes and or our framework without proper attribution
  • Use any marks owned by FreeVision in any way that might state or imply that FreeVision endorses your distribution
  • Use any marks owned by FreeVision in any way that might state or imply that you created the FreeVision software in question

It does not require you to:

  • Include the source of our themes and or our framework itself, or of any modifications you may have made to it, in any redistribution you may assemble that includes it
  • Submit changes that you make to FreeVision (though such feedback is encouraged)
